Worth a very small detour. Close to the Watts Gallery, which has a cafe and toilets. If you can build in an hour, it's also worth paying the small fee to visit the galleries and exhibitions too.

Hiking

The Watts Cemetry Chapel is truly unique. Designed by Mary Watts and built with the help of the local villagers, the chapel is a fusion of art noveau, Celtic, Romanesque and Egyptian influence. Be sure to go inside to experience the wealth of colour on display. G F and Mary Watts are buried in the cemetry, as is Aldous Huxley of Brave New World fame.
