Of all these, it was the most visible hermitage of Sant Jaume from the Monastery, 1760 meters away. It was hung in the middle of the air from the east wall of the Roca de Sant Jaume, a monolith at an altitude of 1032 meters, in the group that rises after the Pla de les Bruixes or the Taràntules (upper funicular station of Sant Joan ), part of the southern mountain range or region of Thebes.
It was the most difficult access to the hermitage, as it was materially supported, built on a rocky slope, where a pile of steps had to be dug into the living wall, beyond the construction site.
Today they can still be appreciated.
