It is one of the 172 preserved Bismarck towers in the world. It is currently open to the public.
The tower was built on the initiative of the Wrocław Student Association. The Twilight of the Gods project by Wilhelm Kreis was selected for implementation. The cornerstone was laid on May 13, 1906. On June 21, 1907, the official opening of the tower took place and it was handed over to the authorities of Sobótka by the Suevia Academic Gymnastics Association. In 1992, on the initiative of the residents of Sobótka, it was renovated.
