The Santa Eulalia Siphon Bridge was built in 1969 over the Odiel River that allows the exit and entrance of the city of Huelva through the river and the different islands over which it passes towards Corrales. Its structure also supports a series of water pipes bound for the city and the Huelva Chemical Center for Promotion and Development. With its more than 2,000 meters, it was for several years considered the longest bridge in the country. In 1993 a second bridge was opened parallel to this one, although dedicated solely to the passage of vehicles.
