The retrospective sign hanging from an old, dead, and sawn-off piece of tree trunk is a small highlight; further down, at the junction with the Lacherüttenweg trail, there's a lovely view back towards the Schluchsee lake. However, the short climb from the wide path to this point is steep and uneven.
