The Dreieckgrube near Sandersdorf is a small former opencast mine west of Bitterfeld-Wolfen, which lies between the Förstergrube and the Hermine pit. The body of water is surrounded by forest, but with a sparse population, especially on the northern and eastern banks. There are also some shallow water areas near the shore, which are particularly suitable for fishing in the Dreieckgrube in spring. In some cases, you can drive directly to the water by car.
