Located on the hill of "Blutberg", which means "mountain of blood", 1589 soldiers rest there on an area of 18,285 m², including 792 graves of North African soldiers and 15 graves of Jewish soldiers.
Directly near the Necropolis, at the parking lot, stands the American monument facing the Alsace plain. This monument was erected in 1995 in honor of the American fighters who died in Alsace for freedom.
