At the top of the conglomerate rock that towers high above the Kokra River, there is an observation deck that adjoins the city walls. Its location is no coincidence, as it symbolizes the southernmost defensive tower that collapsed due to the brittle rock. When you stand on the platform today and watch the two rivers flow, observe the hustle and bustle of cars and factories and see the hill of Šmarjetna gora in front of you, let your imagination wander into the past.
