Dunes near Julianadorp

The dune area at Julianadorp is an absolute highlight. Access is via the beach entrance "Paal 6". Especially the dune road from Callantsoog to Den Helder is recommended to explore by bicycle. But a walk through the dunes is also an experience.

Great cycle path along the coastline. Great for cycling to Den Helder or Bergen an der Zee. Plenty of opportunities to visit the beach huts for food and drink along the way. The cycle path is almost entirely asphalted and great to ride. Also for older groups of people. If someone here gives the tip "But a walk or a hike through the dunes is also an experience" I can say that this is simply forbidden... there are signs everywhere saying "verboden toegang". German · Entry prohibited You won't see any Dutch people trampling on their coastal protection... only foreigners do that.

Just a beautiful landscape with plenty of peace to enjoy.
