Leinzell Castle

Great to look at! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Architecturally interesting castle, interesting exhibitions of young artists take place there again and again.

Leinzell Castle in Leinzell in Baden-Württemberg was built around 1650 by the Lang family on the ruins of a weir destroyed by the Thirty Years' War. It remained after the loss of power of the Lang family in their possession and was sold in 1990 from the possession of the Dame Brigitte von Lang.
Since 2004, the castle belongs to the art collector couple Silvia and Helmut Wickleder. They founded a foundation that supports exhibitions of young artists in the castle.
In 2009 the castle was renovated from the outside.
