In October 2013, the new SpVgg Greuther Fürth training ground was opened. The area has an artificial turf field filled with cork, two natural turf fields, a sandy area, a ball wall made of prefabricated concrete parts and many other details that guarantee optimal training for professional and junior teams. With the decision to use cork infill, Fürth was one of the pioneers in using ecological and sustainable infill materials in artificial turf.
