Tips
You will find at Forest Burn Shelter enough to shelter you from the wind, but also a picnic area and toilets. And when you've been walking on a ridge all day (with the void on either side) it's pretty valuable.
This spot is also the ideal place if you have not yet had the chance to observe Kea (mountain parrot). This bird is very present around here. A word of advice: don't leave your belongings lying around. The Kea is pilferer and player. I saw a hiker lose his hat there.translated by
