Three viewpoints, each with a bench, are located on the southern edge of the Wannenberg (a foothill on the eastern Kaiserstuhl, extending southward into the steep slope above Eichstetten). Magnificent views to the south extend directly to the Kaiserstuhl village of Eichstetten below, to other towns in the Breisgau region as far as Freiburg, as well as to the striking mountains of the High Black Forest (Kandel, Feldberg, Schauinsland, Belchen, and Blauen), and to the west to the Kaiserstuhl mountain ranges.
