St. Michael's Catholic Church
Octagonal choir tower, medieval structure before 1400, destroyed several times. The nave with side chapels was rebuilt in 1725 after a fire in the late Baroque style, and the interior was redesigned in the 20th century in the Neo-Baroque style.Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time for further interior 📷📷 as a service was about to begin.

St. Michael's Church is a listed Roman Catholic parish church located at Albertus-Magnus-Weg 5 in the market town of Donaustauf in the Regensburg district (Bavaria).The church is a choir tower church with an octagonal tower and a tent roof.It was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1724 after the previous church was destroyed in a fire.The tower dates back to the Middle Ages, before 1388.Sections of the cemetery wall are likely from the 18th century.Extensive renovations have been underway since April 2023.
The bells form a four-part Salve Regina peal: E-flat, G-flat, B-flat, and C-flat. The three larger bells date from 1946 and were cast by Karl Hamm in Regensburg. The small bell was cast by Georg Hofweber in Regensburg in 1951.
