In the Montesano Salentino area, an ancient rural structure, the Masseria le Cozze. It is an area, with a ruin in a state of abandonment probably dating back to 600-700 and fenced thanks to a very particular construction technique, a 3-4 meter high para-wolf wall.
It is always worth visiting these places, they are proof of the high value left by our ancestors but unfortunately very often in abandonment and decay.
