It is crossed in this area by the federal highway 9. Other places are Reinsdorf, Sorna, Krölpa, Muntscha, Auma, Wiebelsdorf, Wöhlsdorf, Forstwolfersdorf, Rohna, Schömberg, where it feeds the Auma dam, and Liebsdorf. In the town of Weida it flows into the river of the same name, Weida.
