From the jetty, you have fantastic views of the Schulsee (school lake).

The Schulsee (school lake) near Mölln's old town has a maximum depth of approximately 5 meters and a rather soft bottom. It is fed by the Hegesee (maintenance lake) and the Mühlenteich (mill pond). The shores are largely built over.

It is home to virtually all native fish species. It is prized by Mölln anglers,

but mainly for its above-average eel population.

Interesting features and landing spots: The "Luisenbad" public swimming pool is located on the northeast shore of the lake, attracting mostly local visitors in the summer.
