The name comes from the founders of the hotel guesthouse in 1901. The history of the traditional hotel guesthouse in the Ore Mountains began with the Fischer family, who ran a restaurant as well as a cobbler's shop and a grocery store.

"Not far from the 806 m high stone peak in the Erzgebirge, the highest elevation of Holzhau, is our traditional fisherman's house.
Our hotel is very popular with hikers, cyclists and winter sports enthusiasts in summer and winter. Many hiking trails and ski trails around Holzhau start right at the house. The ski lifts can be reached from the Holzhauer Hochebene with attached ski equipment - Start your winter holiday with a round trip to the valley! From the 5 km long Inlineskatestrecke "Ringelstraße" you can "roll in" directly into our beer garden. "-https: //fischerbaude.deThere is hardly anything to add to that. Nice staff, delicious food, nice rooms with a great view and the forest nearby offer the relaxation that the hiker needs along the Kammwegs.

One of the most traditional inns and hospitality in the Eastern Ore Mountains.
For almost 120 years, guests have been entertained here and before the meal is worth a really short detour to the Steinkuppe with a worthwhile view of the Muldental and entry in the summit book!
