    The railway bridge and the station were built in the 1870s. The station was located on the Warsaw-Vienna railroad, and the first train passed through Goczałkowice on June 24, 1870.
    The building fulfilled its role until the beginning of the 21st century, when ticket offices and waiting rooms were closed due to the increasing number of homeless people. In 2013, the historic station was transferred to the Goczałkowice-Zdrój commune. In mid-2015, the renovation of the building was completed. A Tourist Service Center was opened there. In November 2020, the station was awarded the title of the Railway Station of the Year 2020.
