Mühleiper Straße up to Vierwinden is tricky. 100km/h is not uncommon. Coming from Mühleip, you first take the cycle path and from the Unkelmühle junction you can cross the main road on the left (be careful of the high speed of traffic!) to get quietly up to Kircheib via Unkelmühle and Obereip. It's almost traffic-free through the greenery. Therefore, it is often used for one or two RTFs. The climb from the mill up to Obereip is quite steep but sunny and with a beautiful view. When driving down there, pay attention to the wavy asphalt surface!
