View of the Bernese Alps from Zingghöch

A 360° view of the Bernese Alps, the Gantrisch massif, the Friborg Pre-Alps, the Berra, the Gibloux, the Jura chain dominated by the Chasseral. Who says better ?

From up here, from left to right, the hiker can see the whole variety and splendor of the Oberland mountains. I have rarely experienced such a panorama-filling sight. It doesn't matter which way you turn. The Brienzer Rothorn chain, the Schreckhorn, Eiger Mönch and Jungfrau, Spiez's local mountain, the Niesen, the cone-shaped Stockhorn and the Stockhorn chain... everything presents itself proudly and majestically behind the Lisiberg in front. And if you turn 180°, the Jura will greet you with the distinctive antenna on the distant Chasseral. With your butt, you should pay a visit to the viewing bench at the Zingghöch. The bank does not bring in any interest, but rewards the eye with a capital natural spectacle.
