This path from Rübenach to Mülheim-Kärlich is specified by Komoot as a road bike connection, but it is a gravel and partly unpaved dirt road over the Rübenacherhöhe. You can get through here car-free when the mud isn't so slippery, and you can take a look into the former clay pits on the hill. On the northern slope there are wide views of the Rhine Valley, and in summer blackberries lure you to take a break. However, you should avoid this path if you only want to be on asphalt with the noble racing bike.
