This path from Rübenach to Mülheim-Kärlich is specified by Komoot as a road bike connection, but it is a gravel and partly unpaved dirt road over the Rübenacherhöhe. You can get through here car-free when the mud isn't so slippery, and you can take a look into the former clay pits on the hill.
