Also known as the "Signal House", the Semáforo was a historic building built at the end of the 19th century in the area known as the Albufera, on the south bank of the mouth of the Llobregat.
Its mission was to regulate the traffic of ships towards the port of Barcelona, by means of some optical telegraphs that served as traffic lights.

A really special and unusual place. On a narrow wooden path you get into the dilapidated house and on the other side in a wide curve to the upper floor. You look at the sea and above your head the planes take off and land. Absolutely worth a trip!
