On the LÖWE path in Lechlumer Holz on the outskirts of Wolfenbüttel you will look in vain for big cats, but the nature adventure path offers a lot of fun and excitement in the forest - for children and adults alike. LÖWE - that means long-term ecological forest development. You can hear, climb, feel, jump or make music on the 2.5 km long circular route. The stations include, for example, forest glasses, a woodpecker cave and a tree telephone. A forest xylophone invites you to make music and from the comfortable lounger you can look into the trees and listen to the sounds of the forest. Balancing beams want to be conquered and the treetops can be viewed up close from the LÖWE tower. A small brochure with a map and explanations is available from the Tourist Information.

The Lechlumer Holz forest is located in the north of Wolfenbüttel and is one of the green lungs of the city. It is particularly suitable for less experienced and inexperienced runners. This also means children in particular, who can do a varied and small round on the lion path (blue line).

The lion path offers the opportunity to take short breaks from running at various stations along the route in order to train coordination when balancing over tree trunks or palisades.
