The path through the Wasserlochklamm leads up past five waterfalls. The highlight is definitely the two-stage Schleierfall. Here the water plunges 67 meters down.

Narrow canyons, intoxicating waterfalls, deep insights and wide views... the Wasserlochklamm has everything an exciting hike needs... and much more. 65 meters long and 21 meters high - these are the coordinates of the spectacular start to the Wasserloch gorge hike. If you cross the suspension bridge and take a deep breath on the path along the Salza, you can start the climb. The solid wooden climbing system built by the municipality of Palfau between 1986 and 1992 will take you safely up high. The path winds its way up step by step past 5 impressive waterfalls with a total drop of 152 meters and wooden bridges spanning gorges. The water falls an intoxicating 67 meters at the gorge's highest point, the two-stage Schleierfall.
