The Schwarzenbach area is a nature reserve designated by ordinance by the Tübingen regional council on September 15, 1996 in the area of the cities of Rottweil and Schömberg and the municipality of Zimmern unter der Burg in Baden-Württemberg. The nature reserve lies roughly equally in the Zollernalbkreis and the Rottweil district between Schömberg in the east, Zimmern unter der Burg in the north and Neukirch in the southwest. It is 87.7 hectares in size and includes the valley of the Schwarzenbach and its tributaries Stockbrunnen, Reifentalbach and Schwarderbach in the section between State Road 435 and the outskirts of Zimmern. In the southeast, the area is separated into two areas by the B 27. The nature reserve lies at an altitude of 597 to 695 m above sea level.
