It's best to visit the site early in the morning as there is little shade and the site is quite large, so plan plenty of time.
The remains of the large temples are particularly fascinating, standing as silent witnesses to the city's former glory. Temples C and E are particularly striking, with the latter partially rebuilt, if not quite to current archaeological standards.

It's best to visit early in the morning. The area is large and there is almost no shade. I was there for at least 3 hours. Opening times vary depending on the season.
