    HD Schrader

The cube constructs, which are hung in the tree or placed around it like a red thread along the route of the SCULPTOURA and painted in the signal color red, create a picture of the world in several respects. On the one hand, their creator, HD Schrader, is guided by concrete art by the mathematically constructible space of experience, according to the principles of Euclidean geometry. Seen in this way, they are logical artifacts that only have a limited connection with reality - the bodies, which are only defined by their side lines, could be described as thought spaces. On the other hand, these

side lines of the always tilted or slanted cubes frame sections of real nature images in the

surface, which actually exist in the room, but appear like

landscape paintings on the imaginary cube surface - especially since the red as an artificial

foreign body also transforms the tree into a fictitious image.

In addition, Schrader relies on the dialectical relationship

between nature and art, on the one hand the grown wood of the tree in

its own creative form, on the other hand the industrially

manufactured, standardized, i.e. denatured timber of the cube.
