Hiking

Last stop and turning point of the shipping on the Königssee. From here, beautiful hikes start around the Obersee, to the Fischunkelalm or to the Rötbachfall. It can get very crowded here in the late morning. If you want to enjoy the peace a little more, you should rather take one of the early boats.

For example, mountaineers start their hike over the Sagerecksteig up to the Kärlingerhaus am Funtensee. If you are only here as a day tourist, you should not fall straight into the inn near the investor, but go up to the upper lake and also make a detour to Saletalm.
