Camping Fort Welikit is well located, and is surrounded by nature. It is not uncommon to see deer like the mule deer and the white tail nearby. On the road down from Sylvan Lake to the campsite, you will see your first bison. This is a breeding, but it is still impressive. The campsite is well equipped. The part in the forest is reserved for campers with tents.
