Arkoudillas is an uninhabited large forest area with cypresses, strawberry trees, lawns and shrubs, accessible from Kavos by a gravel road, suitable for 4x4 vehicles. You can also start your hike just past Kavos. This beautiful and challenging path is a part of the 22 km long running trail and takes you through the virgin forest. Be carefull after a rainfall as it gets muddy and slippery. In some sections there is a rope you can hold onto, very useful for a safe descent. Perfect hike for hot summer days as almost the entire route is shaded.
