The Keri cliffs in the southwest of the island are known for their dramatic limestone formations that drop steeply into the crystal-clear, turquoise Ionian Sea.
The Keri cliffs are considered one of the best places on Zakynthos to watch the sunset. Near the Keri lighthouse, there are panoramic views of the sea and the famous Mizithres rocks.
Keri Caves: At the foot of the cliffs, there are numerous sea caves accessible only from the water. The water in the caves often shimmers in an intense blue, caused by light reflections and minerals in the rock.
