This section is a great ecological paradise. A formative place is Szigetszentmiklós. The name essentially consists of two parts: Sziget means island in Hungarian, which means the Csepel, and Szent Miklós stands for Saint Nicholas, who is the town's patron saint. The German name Nigglau is also a modification of Nikolaus.
