There are two memorial sites and two memorial sites in Ostbevern. One is in the Kattmannskamp. A stone here reminds us that men gathered here in 1870 and 1871 to jointly follow the draft from Warendorf. The background was the Franco-Prussian War from 1870 to 1871. Further stops were the "Old Cemetery" memorial and the linden tree in the Brock farming community.
