The Tonkuhle Oldenburg is located in the Eversten district of Oldenburg on Hausbäker Weg in Lower Saxony. Until the end of the 1930s, clay was dug here for the neighboring brickworks. The hole was then partially filled and used as a rainwater retention basin. It's still 20 feet deep now, and offers nearly 10 acres of fishing waters right in the middle of town
