Ferryside is a really pretty little village in Carmarthenshire on the estuary of the River Tywi. It used to be a ferry crossing here, hence the name, but latterly became a fishing village and these days the main industry is tourism.

The first time I passed through Ferryside was on the train, which I'd highly recommend — the West Wales Line makes for a very scenic journey.
