The Hesselberg path is the classic hiking trail on the Hesselberg. It leads over the three peaks (main peak at the television tower, Wilhelmsstein and the highest point of the Osterwiese) as well as on the south side at "half the height of the mountain" on the route of circular hiking trail No. 1 to the most interesting parts of the Hesselberg. Included is the summit quarry, the quarry at Osterwiese and the upper linden avenue. A source and numerous information boards on geology, botany and history are a further enrichment. From the east side of the Osterwiese (view of Lindenallee) to the west side of the high plateau (view of the Kaiserberge / Black Spruce), the Hesselberg runs on the route of the European hiking trail E8.hesselberg-panorama.de/hesselberg-pfad.html
