The Furlo Gorge is a wonderful canyon created by the incessant flow of river water. This narrow, fascinating and evocative passage is located between the municipalities of Fermignano and Acqualagna, in the province of Pesaro-Urbino. The gorge is located between Mount Pietralata (889 m) and Mount Paganuccio (976 m), and was created by the erosive force of the Candigliano river, a tributary of the Metauro.
