The Furlo Refuge was recently renovated and remains within the Gola del Furlo and Unione Montana Alta Valle del Metauro state nature reserve.
The structure inside the protected area, in the regional state forest of Mount Pietralata, had not been used for some time.
And not even served by a water pipeline.
Thanks to the agreement between the Gola del Furlo State Nature Reserve and the Unione Montana Alta Valle del Metauro, the public property is now back to new life.
