Hulverscheidt is a village in the town of Radevormwald. The Hulverscheider Bach, a tributary of the Wiebach Vorsperre of the Wuppertalsperre, flows southeast of Hulverscheidt. The Höhberg (349.6 m) rises south of the village on the other side of the creek valley. The place was first mentioned in a document around 1050 as "possession of the Imperial Abbey of Werden." Spelling of the first mention: Hulvenscetha.
