In the meantime, on 17 December 1458, Lonno became an autonomous parish with a decree from Bishop Ludovico Donato. The building underwent a radical transformation between 1734 and 1754, finally a new span was added in 1899.
The church thus renovated was consecrated again by Bishop Gaetano Camillo Guindani on 16 September 1900.
