The castle in Forchheim (also called the Kaiserpfalz) was an important city castle of the Bishop of Bamberg in the city of Forchheim in Upper Franconia. The castle was built in the late 14th century. After extensive archaeological and architectural studies, it is one of the best researched structures of this period in Central Europe.
