The Sanctuary of the Madonna dell’Eterno stands in the green of the hilly area of Bosco Toppole, in the Municipality of Montecorvino Rovella in the place where legend has it the miraculous discovery of an icon of the Madonna took place. Where we now find the Church, the Madonna made it snow on the third Sunday of August 1623, in order to trace on the ground the dimensions of the Sanctuary that was to rise there. Destination of continuous pilgrimages in the month of May, the church has recently been renovated and enlarged to accommodate a large number of faithful.
