Gut Schirnau is located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein between the Wittensee and the Kiel Canal on the small Schirnau river. Tool finds from the Stone Age suggest a very old cultural site. As a Meierhof, the business had belonged to Gut Sehestedt as a branch since 1503. A total of 11 different families are known to us as previous owners (e.g. the van Damme and von Liliencron families). The company has been owned by the von Gyldenfeldt / Fedder family since 1919.
