The Croscat volcano and its clay pots are one of the jewels of the La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. It is the second largest volcano in the Iberian Peninsula, and its last eruption was 11,500 years ago.
Its particular shape is due to the fact that for 25 years it was dedicated to the exploitation of clay, for the production of bricks and tennis courts.
