The grey stone buildings of Penmon Priory are a wonderful sight from the road and well worth a visit on your way to Penmon Point. St Seiriol established a monastery here in the 6th century and his well dates back to this period.

The remains of the priory date to the 13th century, whilst the church dates to the 10th century. You can only visit the priory from the outside.
