The small Hanseatic city is mainly known for the Attahöhle, one of the largest and most beautiful stalactite caves in Germany. In addition, Attendorn is known for its proximity to Biggesee. Apart from that, Attendorn has a very beautiful old town, whose rural charm is a beautiful backdrop for a short break.
