Hiking
I was a Roman borderline in the 1st century AD on the Swabian Alb.
In the year 70-74 AD, the border line was higher than the landscape, built of stones, I was also called Hochstrasse. Without ditches and defensive walls, my path was 135 km in length, the northernmost border of the Roman Empire until about 122 AD.
I stretched from Rottweil to Heidenheim and was the fastest connection between the military camps for the Roman army.
