10-metre high lookout tower, part of the WaalWeelde project. This project focuses on the experience and safety of the Waal. The tower, designed by Dirk Oomen, refers to the former chimney of the brick factory, which stood here from 1873 to the 1970s. The design is nature-inclusive, with built-in bat boxes. The area offers remnants of the former industry and now forms an adventurous playground for children. After climbing the tower, you get a great view of the area.
