Bambel bench on the Erzhäuser Rundweg

In the summer of 2018, the Erzhausen Circular Trail, a walking trail through the district, was officially opened. Numerous information panels along the trail invite visitors to learn more about nature and the town of Erzhausen. The Friends of Nature Egelsbach-Erzhausen also donated one of the information panels. The Erzhausen Bambelbänke, raised benches where you can rest your feet, invite you to linger. People engage with the nature on their doorstep, enjoy it, and be active at the same time.
The Heegbachlauf, a highlight in the region "by runners for runners," has established itself as an "event" and runs largely along the northern Erzhausen Circular Trail.
